One vehicle for your cargo, from pickup to delivery
We collect in Catalonia (and elsewhere in Spain, subject to availability), cross the border at La Jonquera and deliver in France with the same vehicle. No chargement partagé: your cargo is not moved between trucks on the way. We also run the opposite direction, from France to Spain.
Starting from the Catalan border
We work from Caldes de Montbui (Barcelona). Barcelona to Perpignan is about 200 km, and Girona to Perpignan a little over an hour and a quarter. For urgent shipments between Catalonia and the south of France, the short distance makes same-day collection and delivery possible when a vehicle is available.
Vehicles: van and 3,500 kg box truck
The L3/L4 van carries 2–3 Euro pallets depending on the version, with up to 1,300 kg of payload. The 3,500 kg box truck with tail lift takes up to 8 Euro pallets and 1,000 kg of cargo, with a tail lift rated up to 700 kg. We check the dimensions and weight of every item before assigning the vehicle. If you need more capacity, ask us.
Documents and customs
Spain and France are both in the European Union: for general goods there is no customs procedure at the border. International road transport is documented with a CMR consignment note, and we tell you which details we need (sender, recipient, description and value of the goods).
Tolls, journey times and restrictions
Most French motorways are tolled and the costs are itemised in the quote; the Spanish AP-7 stretch Tarragona–La Jonquera has been toll-free since 1 September 2021. On long routes we confirm the driver's rest periods. France's weekend driving restrictions for heavy goods vehicles mainly affect vehicles over 7.5 t; with a van or a 3,500 kg box truck, planning is usually more flexible.
