Permission to drive to Andorra

We hold authorisation to run services to Andorra with the 3,500 kg box van with tail lift and with the 12-tonne rigid truck. For any other vehicle, ask us before planning the job.

Distance and time from Barcelona

This is direct driving time. The border crossing and unloading at destination add to the timing.

Customs and documents

Andorra is not part of the European Union, so goods go through customs control at the border, outbound and on the way back. It is not a domestic journey like the others.

• For goods that stay in Andorra: an invoice or delivery note with the description and value, and the export customs formalities, which we handle together with a customs agent.
• For material that returns to Spain (events, shoots): this is usually processed as temporary admission. We need the equipment list with quantities and values to prepare it.
• You give us the sender and recipient details and who receives in Andorra; we coordinate the process before departure.

The detail of each procedure depends on the goods, so we confirm it when we see the list, before giving the agreed price.

Events, goods and shoots: what to know

• Events: be clear about the set-up and take-down days, and whether the material has to come back. We coordinate the return with the event date.
• Goods for shops: they go through customs and are usually delivered during business hours; we confirm with the recipient.
• Shoots: equipment and set decoration travel with their material list for temporary admission. If there are long pieces, tell us the dimensions.

Last mile in Andorra

Access in Andorra is mountainous, with narrow streets and tight car parks and unloading hours. That is why we ask for the exact address and, if in doubt, a photo of the access. If the large vehicle does not fit, we assess unloading at a nearby point.

Which vehicle we use

For several pallets, furniture or no dock, the 3,500 kg box van with tail lift (up to 8 Euro pallets, 1,000 kg of cargo and a 700 kg lift). For more volume or weight, the 12 t rigid truck with tail lift (18 Euro pallets, up to 5,000 kg and a 1,500 kg lift).

An estimate for the Barcelona–Andorra journey (about 200 km) for a dedicated service, using the same rates as our calculator, plus VAT and tolls. It does not include the customs formalities.
